[Review] Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads

3.09.2013

This product comes with 28 cleansing pads & cost around $6-8.

I've been using this product for well over a year now, I don't use it every day anymore, but it is definitely gentle enough to do so. Through my experience, it is definitely a magnificent product. After using it I really do find that my skin is great and most definitely clean and clarified. Now, since I have so many other products, I use this on special days, like when I want to do a spa day! :)

 Spa Day
1. Clean face with a make up removing cleanser
2. Exfoliate/Deep clean with Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads
3. Apply a facial mask of choice
4. Tone, Apply Serum, & Moisturize

Something that is great about the product is that it very safe for sensitive skin. As mentioned, it is oil free, soap-free, hypoallergenic, and noncomedogenic. Glancing through the ingredients, I didn't see any ingredients that are rumored "bad chemicals" but I can't say I'm an expert either, so definitely still glance through to make sure there's nothing you're allergic to!

Experience
I don't have the most sensitive skin nor do I get blemishes often/have acne issues. However one of my best friends, who actually recommended this product for me, has really sensitive acne prone skin, and she loves this product so much. She found that her skin really improved with it, and that it really truly cleans the skin and unclogs her pores.

The cleansing pad has two sides to it. The one showed above is the gentle exfoliating scrub side. I like using this side around my nose, because that's where I find I have the most clogged pores, and also on my forehead, especially when I had bangs that transfered oils from my hair to my skin. I find that it really cleans deep into my pores and does not leave behind any soapy residue.

'

The soft side still has cleansing properties, it really gently cleans my skin and it even removes some make up pigments that my make up remover had missed. Additionally, I love the smell of the soap-free soap! It smells so fresh and clean! This side of the pad is gentle enough for even my eyes! I do use a minimal amount of strength though, just to be cautious of the delicate skin.

You can find this product at your local drugstores including Target, Walmart, Ulta, and etc.

Hope you guys found this review helpful!

  1. I love finding effective drugstore products! Makes me feel like I'm getting a good deal, even though sometimes those are still very over priced :P
